Why should I issue Transit Miles to my customers?

Acquire New Customers - There are millions of Transit Treasure members nationwide and tens of thousands in your city.

Retain Your Customers - Undoubtedly you have competitors nearby. Transit Treasure members spend money where they can earn Transit Miles. Make sure that when a Transit Treasure member walks off the bus or out of the subway that they walk across the street to see you.

Communicate Better With Your Customers - Share your business with our membership base and speak to those members who will find what you have to offer most interesting. Deliver the right message, to the right member, at the right time.

How much work will I have to do to participate?

Not much, to be honest. It's very easy to get set up. We have our members make purchases with you using credit and/or debit cards they have registered with us so we can accurately track their spending. All we need from you is your Merchant ID number from your payment processor and 30-minutes of your time to craft email content that we can distribute out to our members to alert them to your presence in the Transit Treasure merchant network. Each month we ask for another 30-minutes to review the activity at your business during the prior month and to develop new messaging for the upcoming month.

Transit Treasure issues all Transit Miles to members based on how much they spend and how many points you want to give them for every dollar they spend. We do all the analytical work to understand who is spending, and how much, and how can we get more members to come, return more frequently and spend more.

Is this one of those group-buying things?

No!!! Transit Treasure is definitely not like a group buying site. While we will definitely be able to bring you a bunch of new customers, our goal is to help you retain those customers over time. For as long as you're issuing Transit Miles to Transit Treasure members they will have motivation to return. Unlike the group buying sites where people follow the coupon to different places (maybe even your main competitor) when you become part of the Transit Treasure program we work our hardest to push our members to you for the long-term. We also want to help you maintain price integrity. If you want to offer a discount or special to a Transit Treasure member we think that's great, but cutting your price by 50% is not a mandate to participate. Lastly, your business will be one piece of a larger network of local businesses - we aim to give our members an opportunity to earn Transit Miles anytime they are spending money. This "network effect" makes each business partner exponentially more valuable to the entire group than if it were just standing alone.

How much does it cost me?

It costs nothing to join - you pay a small commission on each sale that is made at your store by a Transit Treasure member. That commission funds the cost of the Transit Mile that has been earned by the member and the operations of the Transit Treasure program.
